Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Burrows (ranked 469 p4p, 1180 weight class) and Ispa Mfer (ranked 26 p4p, 64 weight class). Burrows comes to the cage accompanied by Baba O'Riley. Ispa Mfer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrows changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Burrows has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Burrows tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mfer defends well and Burrows ends up having to push Mfer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Let's hope that Mfer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Burrows lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stuart Burrows.
