Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23342 p4p, 5788 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Xxx Xxx has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 56 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 49 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fighter A throwing strikes from guard but Fighter B blocks nicely. Fighter B controlling the position. Fighter A postures up and lands a big shot to Fighter B's brow. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A working some strikes from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard. Fighter A is in close to Fighter B's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fighter A being controlled here momentarily. Fighter B wants to sweep but no luck. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter B as he jumps to the side. Fighter B shoots in and gets a takedown into Fighter A's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control the position but Fighter B says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Fighter A desperately trying to maintain half guard. Fighter B controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter A is trying to maintain the position but Fighter B is very close to passing his half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's position as best he can from this difficult position.

That was a close round but I would say that Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Fighter B shoots in and drives through. Fighter A sprawls well. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A shoots in and drives through. Fighter B sprawls well. Fighter B stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fighter B's guard. Fighter B has his hands on Fighter A's head, controlling the position. Fighter A postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Fighter A preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fighter A managing to control the position. Fighter A's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter A shoots in but no luck this time. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter A is defended easily by Fighter B. Fighter A backing away here, and Fighter B unleashes a leg kick that just misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Fighter A tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fighter B defends well and Fighter A ends up having to push Fighter B into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fighter A fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fighter A has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fighter B after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A is trying to drag Fighter B to the mat but Fighter B just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B manages to get underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fighter B pulls him back up using the underhooks. Fighter A is defending well against a takedown attempt. Fighter B has hold of one of Fighter A's legs. Fighter A is fighting the takedown attempt but Fighter B gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Fighter B controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B postures up.
Fighter A has control of Fighter B's left arm, preventing Fighter B from doing any damage. Fighter B is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B shoots in but Fighter A avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter B is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fighter A's half guard. Fighter B is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
