Kempmen clinches but penn breaks the clinch
and penn counters by moving into the clinch.

Kempmen slaps away a takedown attempt from penn, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A frustrated look appears on Kempmen's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kempmen wants to clinch
and penn counters with a takedown into side control.
penn is looking to take a break and control but Kempmen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
penn tries to stand but Kempmen is controlling his head.

Kempmen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but penn avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kempmen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. penn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kempmen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think penn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kempmen has tightened it up now! penn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
