The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Schaubi rushes Rua and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Schaubi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rua just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rua has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schaubi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A relieved looking Wanderlei Rua thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
