The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Cruz misses.
Clarke looks to land a right hand but Cruz moved out of range.
Cruz looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Clarke loads up on a big right hand but Cruz slips the punch.
Cruz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Clarke throws out the jab.
It seemed like Cruz was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cruz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Clarke throws out a loose jab but Cruz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cruz misses with a hook.
Clarke throws a hook but Cruz avoids it easily.
Clarke misses with a straight left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cruz! But no joy.
Cruz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Clarke throws a hook to the side of Cruz's head but Cruz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dean Clarke showed his dominance in that final round.
