The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Maluga just misses with a punch to the body.
BruceWee with the counter takedown but Maluga avoids it easily.
Maluga throws a nice outside leg kick.

BruceWee tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Maluga throws a quick inside leg kick.
Maluga misses with a wild body shot.
BruceWee tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Maluga wants to slow BruceWee down by chopping away at his legs.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Maluga motions for BruceWee to come forward. Maluga throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
And BruceWee tries to counter it with a takedown but Maluga pushes his down on his head and steps out.
