Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Bomstaerk!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosmanov scores with a nice right hand.
Kosmanov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bomstaerk doesn't seem bothered though.
Bomstaerk misses with a lunging right hand
and Kosmanov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bomstaerk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bomstaerk shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kosmanov defends it nicely.

and Kosmanov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kosmanov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bomstaerk bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
What's Kosmanov going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Kosmanov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kosmanov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bomstaerk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kosmanov keeps working.
Bomstaerk advances to full mount.

Kosmanov is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kosmanov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Bomstaerk is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kosmanov has his hands clasped together but Bomstaerk extends and breaks Kosmanov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bomstaerk.
