Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Minerva Wulf (ranked 702 p4p, 1295 weight class) and Chu Ho Soon (ranked 39 p4p, 72 weight class). Wulf comes to the cage accompanied by Sanctus Dominus. Ho Soon has chosen Carl Orff - O Fortuna as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 2, fighting out of New York, Chu Ho Soon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wulf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ho Soon sprawls well. Ho Soon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wulf gets slowly back to his feet.
Ho Soon raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Wulf swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ho Soon counters with a big head kick but Wulf shrugs it off.
Wulf misses with a wild body shot.
Ho Soon thinks about the counter body kick.
Wulf throws a jab when Ho Soon was well out of range.
Ho Soon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

We've been hearing good reports from Wulf's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Wulf shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ho Soon as he jumps to the side.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Wulf throws a hook to the side of Ho Soon's head but Ho Soon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Ho Soon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wulf takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Ho Soon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Minerva Wulf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wulf throws a low kick, looking for Ho Soon's leg but Ho Soon calmly moves out of range.
Ho Soon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wulf wants to take the fight to the mat but Ho Soon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ho Soon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wulf looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ho Soon is fending him off so far but Wulf persists. Nope, Ho Soon circles away and we're back to standing.

Wulf throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ho Soon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wulf is in Ho Soon's guard.
Ho Soon wants to control the position but Wulf says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wulf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wulf misses the shot to the body.
Ho Soon throws a front kick that sends Wulf stumbling back into the cage.

and Ho Soon counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Wulf throws a combination. Ho Soon tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ho Soon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wulf's hands.

Oh Wulf is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wulf seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Ho Soon thuds a left hand into Wulf's body.
Wulf misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ho Soon counters with a head kick. That will keep Wulf thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ho Soon tries to clinch up but Wulf circles away and keeps his distance.

Ho Soon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wulf.

Wulf had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ho Soon defends it easily.
Ho Soon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wulf is proving hard to escape from.

Chu Ho Soon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
