Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pull Plugger (ranked 3135 p4p, 3504 weight class) and Karsten Koererlaerer (ranked 282 p4p, 309 weight class). Karsten Koererlaerer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Pull Plugger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karsten Koererlaerer! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plugger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Plugger throws a push kick but Koererlaerer slaps the foot to one side. Koererlaerer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Koererlaerer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Plugger tries a head kick but it misses.
Jab by Koererlaerer. Koererlaerer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Plugger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Plugger is trying to keep Koererlaerer in close.
Plugger pulls Koererlaerer in close to his closed guard and prevents Koererlaerer from doing any damage or advancing position. Koererlaerer is in close to Plugger's body, working some short punches and elbows. Koererlaerer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Koererlaerer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Plugger is trying to control the position but Koererlaerer postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plugger pulls Koererlaerer in close to prevent any damage. Koererlaerer trying to control the position from guard on top but Plugger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koererlaerer is taking a break and basically stalling. That's two minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Plugger holds on and takes a little breather. Koererlaerer passes easily into side control. Nice work. Plugger is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at London MMA Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Plugger is not content to let Koererlaerer control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plugger tries to bench press Koererlaerer off him but Koererlaerer keeps the position. Check out the look on Koererlaerer's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Plugger is trying to improve his position. Koererlaerer connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Plugger some visible discomfort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koererlaerer lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Plugger tries to bench press Koererlaerer off him but Koererlaerer keeps the position. Koererlaerer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Plugger keeps working. Koererlaerer works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Plugger gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Koererlaerer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Koererlaerer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Koererlaerer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Plugger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Koererlaerer is working away from the top position though. Plugger tries to roll over but Koererlaerer keeps him under control. Plugger has hold of Koererlaerer's hands but Koererlaerer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice strikes from Koererlaerer there. Plugger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Koererlaerer is trying to work for a kimura but Plugger is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Plugger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Koererlaerer wants to control from the top but Plugger keeps moving. Koererlaerer postures up.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Koererlaerer! But no joy. Plugger feints and as Koererlaerer raises his hands in defense, Plugger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Plugger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koererlaerer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Koererlaerer trying to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Plugger looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Karsten Koererlaerer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Koererlaerer throws a leg kick that is checked and Plugger counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Karsten Koererlaerer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Koererlaerer is looking for a sweep. Plugger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Plugger trying to control the action but Koererlaerer is working from the bottom. Koererlaerer wants to get back to his feet. Plugger thows a huge punch but Koererlaerer dodges it nicely.
Pull Plugger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koererlaerer wants to control but Plugger is keeping busy.

And that's the end of the fight! Karsten Koererlaerer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Koererlaerer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
