Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roscoe Conwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Last of the Mohicans Theme. Conwell has chosen Super Bon Bon as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roscoe Conwell!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Conwell moves away.
Simpson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Simpson lands in his opponent's guard.
Simpson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Conwell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Simpson, into his guard.
Simpson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Conwell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Simpson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Conwell's back instead.
Simpson is not going to allow Conwell to sit and survive in this position.
Simpson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Simpson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Conwell is defending well though. Simpson let's go of the attempt for now.
Conwell wants to escape the position.
Simpson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Conwell has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Conwell trying to control the position but Simpson manages to sink in the hooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simpson lands a shot to the body.
Simpson is working for a rear naked choke. Conwell is not defending it well and Simpson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Conwell refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Conwell's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brandon Simpson!
