Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Dalton!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Dalton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dalton feints the counter takedown.
Salvacion looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Dalton tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Salvacion darts in looking for a takedown but Dalton gets double underhooks and turns Salvacion into the cage.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dalton as he avoids it easily.
Dalton slaps away a takedown attempt from Salvacion, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dalton has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Salvacion is defended easily by Dalton.

A very excited looking Nick Dalton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
