Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Tremblay (ranked 5857 p4p, 2159 weight class) and Cole Lake (ranked 463 p4p, 260 weight class). Lake has chosen Panic Attack as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacques Tremblay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Lake! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lake looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tremblay! Tremblay looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lake tries for a kimura but Tremblay is defending well. Tremblay avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lake. Lake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tremblay keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lake throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lake working the head and body with strikes. Tremblay on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tremblay tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lake misses with the ground and pound. Lake scores with a couple of short elbows. Lake scoring with punches from side control. Tremblay trying to remain calm as Lake controls from the top position. Lake lands a few punches from side control. Lake controlling from side mount. Lake is looking to take a break and control but Tremblay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Check out the look on Lake's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lake tries to advance to mount but Tremblay denies him. Tremblay definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lake trying to control the action but Tremblay is working from the bottom. Lake working the head with strikes. Lake tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. You can see the frustration on Tremblay's face as Lake controls the position. Lake working the head with strikes. Lake tries to score with some ground and pound. Tremblay controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Lake misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tremblay stops Lake from passing to mount. Lake remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lake postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lake working the head with strikes. Tremblay is letting Lake control him for a moment. Lake cracks Tremblay with a big right hand but Tremblay just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Tremblay is rocked! Lake trying to control the position but Tremblay is working away. Oh Tremblay is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tremblay is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Lake lands a strong strike to the head of Tremblay. That's dazed him! Lake looking to finish here. Tremblay is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Lake lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cole Lake! Cole Lake gave a mention to Shadow Realm NYC in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
