Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donatello Purple (ranked 3946 p4p, 4112 weight class) and Diego Palametri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Palametri!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palametri gets tackled into the cage by Purple. Purple maintains the clinch.
Palametri jumps into guard, dragging Purple to the mat.

Purple seems a little lost for a moment, as Palametri dominates the positioning.
It looks like Palametri might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Palametri wants to stand but Purple has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Donatello Purple.
