Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Pinfish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oko Nawa!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nawa goes for a double leg but Pinfish avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pinfish continues to drive forward.
Pinfish stuffs the takedown attempt from Nawa. Nawa gets slowly back to his feet.
Oko Nawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pinfish is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Peter Pinfish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oko Nawa.
A nice left hand lands by Nawa.
Nawa lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Nawa looking to throw knees to the head but Pinfish is blocking nicely.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Pinfish.
Pinfish wants to stall.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nawa lands with a light punch inside.
Pinfish definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nawa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pinfish is defending well.
Nawa lands with a short shot to the head.
Nawa tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Pinfish takes a knee right on the jaw!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nawa tries to throw a body punch but Pinfish avoids it by throwing Nawa back against the cage.

Pinfish has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Nawa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Nawa turns into Pinfish and is now in his guard.
Pinfish is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pinfish keeping moving, preventing Nawa from controlling successfully.

Nawa stands and steps away. Pinfish gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Nawa closes the distance but Pinfish moves to the side
and Pinfish counters with a left and a right that stings Nawa.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nawa gets a clinch.
A short uppercut from Nawa.
Nawa tries to land a knee to the head but Pinfish blocks with his arms.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nawa prevents Pinfish from breaking the clinch.
Pinfish lands a body punch in the clinch.
Pinfish is trying to force a seperation but Nawa has the dominant position.
Pinfish dodges an elbow strike from Nawa.
Nawa creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pinfish's defenses.

Nawa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nawa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A low kick from Nawa is predictable there
and Pinfish counters with a left and a right that stings Nawa.
Pinfish lands with a kick to the temple. Nawa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nawa doesn't manage to clinch there - Pinfish circles away.
Peter Pinfish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nawa closes the distance and clinches.
Pinfish has had enough of the clinch but Nawa keeps him there for the moment.
Nawa is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Pinfish has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nawa after a bit of a struggle.
Nawa is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nawa connects with a knee to the head.
Nawa is pressed up against the cage. Pinfish has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nawa down to the mat. Nawa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pinfish is breathing heavily.

Pinfish tries to keep at a distance but Nawa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nawa just leaning against Pinfish, taking a breather.
Nawa stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Nawa lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Nawa jumps into guard, dragging Pinfish to the mat.
Pinfish scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Pinfish is sitting in close to Nawa's body. Nawa has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pinfish is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pinfish is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nawa.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Oko Nawa!
