Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caius Marius (ranked 4722 p4p, 4826 weight class) and Pykky Kalla (ranked 470 p4p, 484 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Caius Marius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pykky Kalla!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marius jabs at Kalla's body.
Kalla misses with a hook to the body
and Marius counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Marius lands with a right hand.
Kalla misses with a low kick.
Marius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marius definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Marius connects with a jab.
Kalla throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kalla throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marius swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Marius dips to his left and cracks Kalla with an uppercut!
Kalla swings widly with a right hand
letting Marius counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kalla looks to throw the jab but Marius is out of range.
Marius appears to be looking for a big counter.
Marius lands the left hand.
Marius takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Pykky Kalla has been cut.
Kalla throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kalla takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Kalla does it's job there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kalla.
Marius fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kalla looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kalla shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Marius counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kalla looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Marius!
Kalla tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kalla has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kalla thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kalla fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kalla sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Marius is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Marius is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, if Kalla is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kalla looks to land a strike but Marius avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Kalla passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kalla thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marius's head.

Kalla looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kalla stalling.
Marius is refusing to be controlled, as Kalla sits in half guard.
Kalla has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Marius wants to control but Kalla is keeping busy.

Marius is defending against the submission attempts here by Kalla.
Kalla moves into full mount! Marius won't be happy about that!
Kalla has control of Marius's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Marius regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Caius Marius will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Pykky Kalla's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Marius throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kalla takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Marius counters with a two punch combo.
Marius looks to land a right hand but Kalla moved out of range.
Caius Marius is winning the standup battle so far.
Marius scores with a decent looking hook.
We've been informed that Kalla has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Kalla ducks right into an uppercut from Marius.
Kalla is rocked!
Marius is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kalla bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Marius comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kalla falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kalla was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Caius Marius!
