The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Shah has control of Brown's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brown regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Brown felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Shah content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Shah will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Brown makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brown.
Brown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
