The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fixit moves to clinch but Devan breaks away
and Devan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fixit is looking to clinch but Devan is avoiding it.
Jimmy Fixit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Devan throws a hook to the side of Fixit's head but Fixit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sloppy strikes from Devan. Those never looked like landing.

Fixit moves into the clinch.
Fixit misses with an elbow over the top.
Devan's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Devan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fixit wants a takedown but no success here.
Devan is trying to force a seperation but Fixit has the dominant position.

Fixit drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Devan dodges an elbow strike from Fixit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fixit keeps control of Devan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fixit pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Fixit takes a shot to the head.
Devan pushes Fixit back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fixit lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Devan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fixit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
