Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JimJim Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Zulas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Song might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bomb goes the dynomite. JimJim Song could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Charles Zulas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Zulas!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Song doesn't manage to clinch there - Zulas circles away.
Song is looking to clinch.
Song throws a head kick that half lands.
Song takes a swing at Zulas's ribcage but misses.
JimJim Song seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A right-left combo lands from Song.
Zulas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Zulas fails with the takedown.
Song tries a head kick but it misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Zulas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Song's face.
Song tries to hold on but Zulas pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Song is looking to improve his position but Zulas isn't that keen on the idea.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Zulas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Song is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zulas off and has taken his back!
Zulas rolls, trying to escape but Song keeps control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Song throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

Zulas has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Zulas tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Song in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Song knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zulas on the ground.
Song lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zulas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Song tries to avoid it but Zulas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Song to the ground. Song escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Song has taken the fight to the clinch.

Zulas gets control of Song's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zulas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Song is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Zulas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Song is looking to defend but Zulas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Song! Zulas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Song taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Charles Zulas!
