The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breznikov fails with the takedown
and Jonsson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Breznikov tries to keep at a distance but Jonsson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jonsson lands a good knee to the midsection. Breznikov won't want to take too many of those.
Breznikov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Breznikov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jonsson walks away with a smile on his face. Breznikov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jorge Jonsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonid Breznikov.

Breznikov is aggressively charging in as Jonsson backs up avoiding any damage. Jonsson tosses out a jab and Breznikov runs right into it face first! Breznikov is out cold! Jonsson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Breznikov's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
