Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geno Lawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thaksin Klahan!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawson tries to counter with a takedown but Klahan is quick to defend against it.

Klahan has closed the distance and engaged Lawson in a clinch.
Lawson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Klahan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Klahan jumps into guard, dragging Lawson to the mat.
Klahan controls Lawson momentarily but Lawson frees himself.
Lawson won't allow Klahan to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Klahan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lawson defends well.

Lawson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Klahan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lawson has Klahan in his guard.

Lawson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klahan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Klahan drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Klahan seems to have locked his on tight now - Lawson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Klahan, as he picks up the win!

Thaksin Klahan spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
