Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Kausch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Clancey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Kausch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Clancey!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Clancey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Clancey looks to land a combination but Kausch avoids it well.
Kausch misses with a takedown attempt - Clancey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kausch moves out of range of the strikes.

Horrible takedown by Kausch or perhaps it was just good defense by Clancey which made him look bad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Clancey lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Clancey.
Tom Clancey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kausch has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Kausch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clancey tries to avoid it but Kausch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clancey to the ground. Clancey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Clancey throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kausch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kausch is looking to work some ground and pound but Clancey has wrist control.
Clancey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kausch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kausch looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Clancey uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The fighters circling - Clancey throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

No luck for Kausch with that takedown attempt.
Clancey's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Clancey duly obliges.
Clancey might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Clancey throws a hook to the side of Kausch's head but Kausch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

I would just about give that final round to Tom Clancey.
I've got Clancey winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
