Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luka Son!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson throws a hook but Son blocks it.
Son wants to counter the offense by Peterson and move into the clinch position.
Peterson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Son.
Son defending well as Peterson loads up on a big left hand.
Son stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Peterson throws an off balance right hand
and Son counters with a big right hand that sends Peterson crashing to the mat! He's very wobbly - can he beat the count?! 5,6,7,8... he's up! No, he's down again! 9,10! He's done! The referee calls an end to the bout - Son takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Luka Son!
