Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ilya Muromets!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Udonis Okoro!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muromets connects with a good right hand that stumbles Okoro. Okoro circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Okoro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muromets but Muromets pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Muromets throws a shot from downtown. Okoro moves away and avoids it.
Muromets throws a shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Muromets, as that shot connected.
Muromets clinches up against the cage.
Muromets breaks from the clinch.
Okoro dives in for a single leg takedown but Muromets sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Okoro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Muromets moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nice takedown defense from Muromets. No joy for Okoro on that attempt.
Ilya Muromets has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Udonis Okoro.
Okoro slips a jab from Muromets.
Okoro rushes Muromets and presses him up against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Muromets has been working on his elbows in the gym.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Okoro fails to pull guard.
Muromets is pressed up against the cage. Okoro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Muromets down to the mat. Muromets avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Muromets lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Muromets scores with a nice strike.
Okoro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Muromets is fending him off so far but Okoro persists. Nope, Muromets circles away and we're back to standing.
Muromets defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Okoro.
Muromets throwing a counter right hand but Okoro manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Muromets uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Okoro has time to react.
Okoro is rocked!
Muromets is stalking Okoro. Okoro circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Muromets, and it's lights out! Okoro really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
