Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dye (ranked 158 p4p, 1579 weight class) and Sam Diego (ranked 16 p4p, 217 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Dye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Diego!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dye sizes up Diego with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Sam Diego has been cut.
Dye jabs Diego right on the nose. Diego blinks but takes it well.
Diego scores with a one two! Dye had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Diego misses with a wild combination.
Diego misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dye.
Dye has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Dye takes a swing at Diego's ribcage but misses.
Dye blocks a jab.
Dye fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diego looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Diego moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dye tries to throw a body punch but Diego avoids it by throwing Dye back against the cage.
Diego manages to break the clinch.
Sam Diego seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dye looks to score with a jab to the body but Diego is just out of range.
Dye tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diego was well out of range. Poor timing from Dye.

Dye throws a good cross that connects.
Dye jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diego takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Diego drives through and clinches with Dye against the cage.
Diego can't find room to land a body shot as Dye controls the action.
Diego keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dye's efforts to push away.
Dye swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dye blocks a body shot from Diego.
Dye throws a head punch that misses.
Dye tries a body shot but Diego blocks it.
Diego blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Diego fails to land.
Diego blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Diego breaks the clinch.
Diego avoids the body shot from Dye.

and Diego takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dye swings for the body but Diego moves out of range.
Dye thuds a left hand into Diego's body.

Diego closes the distance and clinches.

Dye uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diego.
Diego's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dye under the eye.

Diego takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Diego throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dye swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Diego scores with a jab to the head.
Diego tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dye manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dye keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
An attempted straight right counter from Dye misses the target.

and Dye counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dye swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Diego throws a lazy uppercut
and Dye counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Diego thinking.
Diego loads up on a big right hand but Dye slips the punch.
Dye fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Diego looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Diego throws a right hand that misses
and Dye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Diego is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Diego misses with a hook
and Dye counters with a right hand from hell and Diego is out cold! A vicious knockout!
