The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lashley as he jumps to the side.
Lashley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wilson!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lashley working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Wilson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Wilson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Wilson is pressing down on Lashley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wilson lands some strikes from the bottom.
Wilson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Lashley working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Lashley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wilson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Wilson working for a triangle but Lashley defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lashley is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Lashley cracks Wilson with a solid left hand.
Wilson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wilson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lashley throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Wilson's body to avoid the submission. Wilson has instead reached around Lashley's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Wilson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
