Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wolfgang Pauli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luca Brassi!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Brassi does no damage.
Pauli looks to score with a jab to the body but Brassi is just out of range.
Pauli connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Luca Brassi has been cut.
Pauli tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brassi was well out of range. Poor timing from Pauli.
Brassi with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pauli counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
A right hook to the body lands for Pauli.
Brassi looks winded!
Pauli lands a right hand.
Pauli lands a damaging elbow.
Pauli comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The cut above Luca Brassi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brassi told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Pauli drops Brassi onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Brassi is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Brassi is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pauli throws a massive elbow that rocks Brassi's head back - Brassi crumples to the floor and this one is all over! Not often you see a KO via an elbow but that was a huge shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Elbow). Wolfgang Pauli!
Our winner, Wolfgang Pauli, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
