PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Towns (ranked 2831 p4p, 4841 weight class) and Arik Boge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Towns went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Towns throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Boge was covering up waiting for the punch and Towns finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Boge is wriggling around but Towns manages to pass to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Towns postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Towns has hold of Boge's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Boge seems comfortable defending it but Towns has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Boge is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Boge is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Towns couldn't care less - he's delighted!
