Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Beukeboom (ranked 1391 p4p, 780 weight class) and Leonid Zakharov (ranked 69 p4p, 40 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonid Zakharov!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beukeboom throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A big right from Zakharov misses.
Beukeboom thows a left - swing and a miss!
Zakharov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Zakharov throws a series of punches but Beukeboom avoids them all with ease.
Beukeboom lands a right hook to the body.
Jab, jab by Zakharov - just one landing.
It looks like Bill Beukeboom has been cut.
Zakharov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Beukeboom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beukeboom throws an off balance right hand
and Zakharov counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Zakharov looks to throw the jab but Beukeboom is out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Beukeboom on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Zakharov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Beukeboom counter with a right hand.

Beukeboom connects with a single shot there.
Beukeboom misses with a looping left.
Beukeboom throws a body punch but Zakharov moves out of range.

Zakharov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Zakharov drops his shoulder and cracks Beukeboom with a huge uppercut! Beukeboom goes down! Can Zakharov finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beukeboom pushes Zakharov off and gets back to his feet.

Bill Beukeboom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beukeboom throwing a counter right hand but Zakharov manages to avoid it.

Zakharov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Beukeboom fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zakharov manages to avoid it.
Beukeboom backing away here, and Zakharov unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Beukeboom dodges the punch combination from Zakharov.
Zakharov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beukeboom drops Zakharov with a straight right hand, right on the button! Beukeboom follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
