Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moritz HANZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Party (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Party is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Final Countdown- Europe. Ted Party has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Party. No joy for HANZ on that attempt. No luck for HANZ with that takedown attempt. HANZ staying out of range there. HANZ tries to clinch but Party is having none of it. HANZ fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moritz HANZ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Party shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so HANZ counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. HANZ wants to pass the guard but Party is keeping the position. Party is looking to stand up but HANZ isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. HANZ trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Party keeping moving, preventing HANZ from controlling successfully. HANZ preventing the sweep. Party is trying to keep HANZ in close.
Party is controlling HANZ's posture.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. HANZ with a lazy takedown attempt and Party counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. HANZ is looking for a sweep. HANZ prevents Party from moving into mount. Party really doesn't want to stay on the ground with HANZ. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. HANZ is looking to reverse the position. Party decides to stand up, so the ref orders HANZ to his feet. HANZ fails with the takedown and Party counters with a takedown into side control. HANZ is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Party wants to stand but HANZ is controlling his arm. HANZ is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Party takes a little break here. HANZ wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. HANZ sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. HANZ wants to control but Party is keeping busy.
HANZ is trying to stand up here but Party is controlling him well. HANZ is pressing down on Party's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. HANZ wants to sweep here but Party controlling him for the moment. HANZ has a closed guard, preventing Party from standing up. HANZ looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
HANZ is looking for a triangle but Party pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. HANZ utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. HANZ working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Party dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
HANZ fails with the takedown and Party counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. HANZ throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Party distracts HANZ with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. HANZ looking for a guillotine here but Party defends easily.
Party passes HANZ's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. HANZ tries to roll over but Party keeps him under control. HANZ slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ted Party has got the better of the ground game so far. HANZ throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Partyis looking to pass into half guard but HANZ pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now HANZ is in guard. Party wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. HANZ slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. HANZ thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. HANZ trying to control the position but Party is working away. HANZ tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Party wants to control but HANZ postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. HANZ works to advance to full mount. Party defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. HANZ controlling the position easily from mount. HANZ can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Party is looking to escape. HANZ stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. No luck for HANZ with that takedown attempt. HANZ misses with a takedown attempt and Party counters with a big head kick but HANZ shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moritz HANZ. That's going to take a lot out of him. HANZ scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. HANZ moves into full mount! Party won't be happy about that! HANZ can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Party is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moritz HANZ dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
HANZ fails with the takedown. Moritz HANZ is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. HANZ shoots for a double leg takedown but Party sprawls well. He's pushed HANZ's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Party misses with a takedown attempt and HANZ counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Party on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Party takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Party keeping hold of HANZ's head, controlling as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. HANZ passes the guard and advances to mount! HANZ seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Party is holding on tight.
HANZ lands a nice shot to the head. Party is in a horrible position here. HANZ smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
HANZ takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. HANZ trying to control but Party is having none of it. HANZ wants to finish this one by submission but Party is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from HANZ. HANZ putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Party is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. HANZ working for a submission but Party is keeping him at bay. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. HANZ wants to take Party's back but he can't do it this time. Party tries to control HANZ's head but HANZ pushes him back down and moves quickly to lock up an arm here - he's swung around for an armbar! Will he get it??? Yes! Party is tapping out! Lovely Jiu Jitsu there!
