Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Kimura scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Boogerfish really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boogerfish doesn't have the hooks in and Kimura manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kimura is trying to work for a kimura but Boogerfish is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kimura is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Boogerfish has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Boogerfish! Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Boogerfish (6) vs (9) Kimura Kimura pulls Boogerfish in close to prevent any damage. Boogerfish tries to free his leg and advance position but Kimura is retaining full guard. Kimura is looking for a triangle but Boogerfish pushes his legs off easily.
Kimura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boogerfish trying to control the position from guard on top but Kimura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boogerfish stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kimura swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boogerfish will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boogerfish wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving. Kimura is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kimura is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boogerfish is posturing up here but Kimura has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Boogerfish tries to roll out but it's too tight and Boogerfish has to tap! Slick submission there by Kimura!
