Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Devils Outlaw (ranked 1671 p4p, 1689 weight class) and Thoth Chontamenti (ranked 184 p4p, 187 weight class). Outlaw kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Moonshine Bandits For The Outlawz. Chontamenti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Five Finger Death Punch - Wrong Side of Heaven. The Devils Outlaw could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Thoth Chontamenti's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thoth Chontamenti!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw looks to throw the jab but Chontamenti is out of range.
Outlaw lunges at Chontamenti with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Chontamenti's hand.
It looks like Thoth Chontamenti has been cut.
Thoth Chontamenti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Outlaw throws out a loose jab but Chontamenti uses good head movement to avoid it.
Outlaw misses with a looping left.
Chontamenti digs a good body shot into Outlaw's ribs.

Outlaw stalks Chontamenti and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chontamenti's face. Chontamenti staggers backwards, shaken.
Outlaw looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chontamenti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Outlaw sprawls well initially but Chontamenti persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Outlaw is trying to escape back to his feet but Chontamenti uses the scramble to pass into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chontamenti's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Outlaw pushes Chontamenti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chontamenti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Chontamenti takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Outlaw walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

A bone on bone clash there as Outlaw blocks the leg kick.

That was a close round but I would say that The Devils Outlaw will probably get the nod.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Outlaw is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Chontamenti drops down looking for an ankle pick but Outlaw pulls his leg out and moves away.

A little feinted left hand from Outlaw on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Outlaw misses with an uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Outlaw. Chontamenti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chontamenti tests Outlaw's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chontamenti walks forward, straight into a front kick from Outlaw.

and Chontamenti decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Outlaw's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chontamenti seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The adventures of Chontamenti the control monster continue. Boring.
