Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Souza did well to prevent Wang getting side control.

Souza turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Souza manages to end up in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Souza lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Chao Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wang has closed the distance and engaged Souza in a clinch.
Wang blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wang jumps guard but Souza turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Souza.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wang pulls Souza in close to his closed guard and prevents Souza from doing any damage or advancing position.
Wang is trying to hold Souza in close to prevent damage but Souza has managed to pass into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Souza connects with a nice short shot to Wang's temple.
Wang wants to control but Souza is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wang makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Souza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chao Wang.
I think Wang has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
