The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Budang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alvarez moves away.
Alvarez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Budang.
Budang throws a body shot but no joy.
Budang misses with a left hand
and Alvarez counters with a right hand to the body.

Alvarez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The strikes coming from Alvarez are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Budang tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Alvarez cranks the arm and Budang screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Budang, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
