Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 24531 p4p, 2386 weight class) and Neil Nucombe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nucombe lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nucombe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bitok walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Bitok is rocked!
Nucombe misses with a looping right.
And Bitok counters with a quick kick to the body but Nucombe blocks it.

Bitok moves out of range as Nucombe strikes.

Bitok ducks straight into an uppercut from Nucombe and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Bitok manages to regain guard straight away.
Oh Bitok is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nucombe gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nucombe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nucombe digs a good hook to Bitok's body.
Bitok seems to have got his legs back now.

Bitok walks straight into a right hand from Nucombe - that's dropped him! Nucombe jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bitok from any more punishment! Bitok complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Neil Nucombe decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
