Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie The Ned (ranked 3979 p4p, 2837 weight class) and Orvar Odd Lodinkinni (ranked 0 p4p, 318 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ronnie The Ned! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Orvar Odd Lodinkinni! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Ned throws out a powerful jab. Lodinkinni goes for a double leg but The Ned avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as The Ned continues to drive forward. The crowd cheers as The Ned lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lodinkinni doesn't seem phased though. Ronnie The Ned seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Ned stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts The Ned, as that shot connected.
Lodinkinni shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. The Ned defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lodinkinni closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into The Ned's guard. Lodinkinni works over The Ned with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lodinkinni working some strikes from top position. Lodinkinni throws a big elbow that misses. The Ned trying to control the position here. Lodinkinni is looking to work some ground and pound but The Ned has wrist control. The Ned is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The Ned is thwarting Lodinkinni's attempts to control the position. Lodinkinni is looking to get back to full guard here but The Ned has managed to pass to side control instead. Lodinkinni tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Ned content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Lodinkinni struggling a bit here. You can see the frustration on Lodinkinni's face as The Ned controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lodinkinni wants to control but The Ned postures up. Lodinkinni is looking to regain half guard here but The Ned keeps moving and retains side control. The Ned wants to stand but Lodinkinni is controlling his arm. Lodinkinni tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lodinkinni wants to control but The Ned postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Lodinkinni uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Ned. Lodinkinni drops down looking to force a counter takedown but The Ned defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters circle momentarily. The Ned darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Lodinkinni takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The Ned dips to his left and cracks Lodinkinni with an uppercut! The Ned just misses with a punch to the body.
And Lodinkinni tries to counter it with a takedown but The Ned pushes his down on his head and steps out. Lodinkinni takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The Ned stuffs the takedown attempt from Lodinkinni. Lodinkinni gets slowly back to his feet. Ronnie The Ned has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orvar Odd Lodinkinni. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The Ned is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And Lodinkinni tries to counter it with a takedown but The Ned pushes his down on his head and steps out. Lodinkinni moves out of range as The Ned strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ronnie The Ned dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The Ned misses with the combination.
The Ned smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A jab lands there for The Ned. The Ned is looking to clinch. The Ned scores with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Ned sends Lodinkinni crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! The Ned is motioning to the referee to let Lodinkinni up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lodinkinni is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Ned misses with a looping left. The Ned sends Lodinkinni crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! That's one minute gone in the round. The Ned connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lodinkinni - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
