Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kodak Piper (ranked 4171 p4p, 3575 weight class) and Jaedong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kodak Piper has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kodak Piper seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kodak Piper !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaedong Lee!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper drives through with a takedown into Lee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Piper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lee working a defensive guard here.
Lee keeping full guard, as Piper tries to pass.
Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Piper 's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Piper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Piper haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lee tries to stand but Piper is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Piper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Piper looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
Lee looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lee trying to control but Piper is working from the bottom.
Piper controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Lee gets caught napping as Piper dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Piper from controlling successfully.
Piper is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lee has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Piper is looking to defend but Lee has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Piper ! Lee pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Piper taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jaedong Lee!
Jaedong Lee decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
