Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Boy (ranked 4298 p4p, 5388 weight class) and Baby Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baby Ali told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Boy gets a clinch.
Ali dodges an elbow strike from Boy.
Ali stops a takedown attempt from Boy.
Boy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ali pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ali looks to score with a jab to the body but Boy is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A frustrated look appears on Ali's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Boy jumps guard but Ali turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Ali counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Big Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ali is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ali might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Baby Ali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Boy tries to score a body lock takedown but Ali shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ali is looking to control Boy's arms but Boy gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ali has his back to the cage.

Ali throws a hook to the side of Boy's head but Boy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Baby Ali is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boy is trying to pull guard but Ali turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Boy takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Boy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boy tries to counter with a takedown but Ali is quick to defend against it.
Big Boy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boy looks to land a combination but Ali avoids it well.

Boy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ali throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ali throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boy on the side of the head.
Ali jabs Boy right on the nose. Boy blinks but takes it well.

Ali swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Boy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
