Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Farto Fuerte (ranked 22799 p4p, 21955 weight class) and Carlton Adesanya (ranked 428 p4p, 426 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Farto Fuerte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlton Adesanya!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adesanya tries to bum rush Fuerte with a series of wild strikes but Fuerte uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adesanya explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Carlton Adesanya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adesanya fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fuerte is looking to counter punch.

As Adesanya looks to move away, Fuerte throws a big counter combo but Adesanya just gets out of the way.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Adesanya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fuerte moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

As Adesanya looks to move away, Fuerte throws a big counter combo but Adesanya just gets out of the way.

Adesanya tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Fuerte manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Adesanya misses with a shot to the body
and Fuerte counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Adesanya to the mat! Fuerte runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Adesanya is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!

Adesanya pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fuerte back to the ropes. Adesanya follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Farto Fuerte has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Carlton Adesanya is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Adesanya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
