Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gregoire Aebersold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Menezes!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aebersold on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Aebersold fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Menezes punishes Aebersold's body with a nice straight punch.
Menezes lands a right hook to the body.
Aebersold doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Menezes throws out a powerful jab.
Menezes looks to land a combination. Aebersold sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Gregoire Aebersold has been cut.
Aebersold tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Menezes swivels and escapes.
Menezes scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Aebersold looks for a takedown but Menezes sprawls well.

enabling Menezes to counter with a crisp jab.
Aebersold drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Menezes lands with a big left! Aebersold is wobbled badly! Menezes comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Aebersold to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Fabricio Menezes was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
