Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iranian Hulk (ranked 1114 p4p, 2628 weight class) and Heavy Dude (ranked 131 p4p, 288 weight class). Heavy Dude will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hulk shoots in and bounces Dude off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Dude has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hulk off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Dude darts in and clinches Hulk up against the cage.
Dude misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dude tries to throw a body punch but Hulk avoids it by throwing Dude back against the cage.
Dude goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hulk looking for a takedown.
Dude goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dude working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Hulk changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dude fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dude waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hulk.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dude gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hulk blocks an uppercut.
Dude lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hulk backwards.
Dude doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dude pushes Hulk back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dude can't find room to land a body shot as Hulk controls the action.
Hulk prevents a body shot from Dude.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hulk looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iranian Hulk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hulk blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Hulk breaks the clinch.
Dude connects with a single shot there.

Dude clinches with his opponent.
Dude misses with a short punch on the inside.

A short body shot lands from Dude as the two fighters clinch.
Hulk is trying to drag Dude to the mat but Dude just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Dude lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dude.
Still in the clinch, Dude scores with a nice short uppercut.
Dude doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dude presses Hulk against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Hulk is breathing heavily.
Dude lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Dude scores with a shot to the side of Hulk's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dude lands an uppercut.
Dude throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hulks head.
Dude misses with a short punch on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dude lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hulk backwards.
Dude struggles to land a body shot inside as Hulk controls his hands.
Dude lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A short body shot lands from Dude as the two fighters clinch.
Dude is pressed up against the cage. Hulk has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dude down to the mat. Dude avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dude cracks Hulk with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dude has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hulk to stand back up!

Hulk is rocked!

It looks like Iranian Hulk has been cut.
Hulk loses concentration momentarily and Dude pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Hulk crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Dude finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Heavy Dude!
