Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joaquim Rebelo (ranked 4215 p4p, 4411 weight class) and Chicken Jones (ranked 443 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joaquim Rebelo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chicken Jones! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones connects with a body shot. Rebelo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rebelo is defending well. Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rebelo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Joaquim Rebelo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Jones. Rebelo is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rebelo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rebelo gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is trying to drag Rebelo to the mat but Rebelo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rebelo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jones breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rebelo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
No joy there for Rebelo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rebelo gets a clinch. Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rebelo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rebelo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Rebelo counters with a right hand to the body. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rebelo sprawls well. Rebelo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Rebelo scores with a hook. Rebelo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rebelo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
Jones is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rebelo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rebelo swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Joaquim Rebelo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rebelo closes the distance and clinches. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rebelo misses with a head kick.

Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Rebelo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones looks winded! Rebelo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jones takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rebelo moves into the clinch. Jones tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rebelo avoids it. Jones tries to pull guard but Rebelo holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.
Rebelo prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rebelo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rebelo tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage. Rebelo is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him. Rebelo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones has Rebelo pressed against the cage, preventing Rebelo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rebelo walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rebelo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rebelo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rebelo walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rebelo takes the fight into the clinch. Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rebelo decides to pull guard. Jones stands and throws Rebelo's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jones has hold of Rebelo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rebelo seems comfortable defending it but Jones has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rebelo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rebelo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jones couldn't care less - he's delighted!
