Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crush Bandicoot (ranked 1470 p4p, 1549 weight class) and Bobby Mercer (ranked 140 p4p, 143 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mercer's choice of entrance music: Why Can't We Be Friends by WAR. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crush Bandicoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Mercer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandicoot scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Bobby Mercer has been cut.
Mercer blocks a jab.
Mercer appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Bandicoot swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Mercer counters with a head kick. That will keep Bandicoot thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Mercer throws the kick towards the body but Bandicoot avoids it.
Mercer throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mercer thumps Bandicoot with a low kick.
Bandicoot scores with a jab to the jaw.
Decent striking displayed by Mercer there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bandicoot drops Mercer with a big left hand and mounts him. Mercer is in big trouble!
Mercer is rocked!
Mercer told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bandicoot postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Mercer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Mercer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crush Bandicoot!
Crush Bandicoot seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Bobby Mercer stepped up to the mic, saying 'You got me again, Crush. You're one of the best but that gear you got on is awful! I'll send you some Bondi gear after this. You'll never look back. I'm telling you, it's a gamechanger. '.
