Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Son Goku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shaggy Pujols!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Goku looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pujols forces Goku back against the cage and clinches.
Pujols lands a right hand that snaps the head of Goku backwards.
Pujols lands with a light punch inside.
Goku misses with a hook to the ribs.
Goku tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Goku fails to pull guard.
Goku missing with knees to the body.
Pujols lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pujols working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Goku cracks Pujols with a nice body shot.
Pujols lands a left hand.
Goku is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pujols is keeping busy.
Pujols prevents a body shot from Goku.
Pujols breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pujols misses with a jab, cross combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Goku throws a series of punches but Pujols moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goku's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Goku duly obliges.
Pujols throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shaggy Pujols is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pujols looks to land a combination but Goku avoids it well.
Pujols connects with a body shot.
Pujols forces Goku back against the cage and clinches.
Goku can't get the takedown.
Pujols escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Goku defending well as Pujols loads up on a big left hand.
Pujols lands a left and a right that send Goku crashing to the mat, dazed. Pujols thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Goku is rocked!
It looks like Son Goku has been cut.
Goku is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goku leaves his chin hanging out and Pujols seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Goku crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shaggy Pujols!
Son Goku was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll get em next time, a loss is a loss never a good feeling. '.
