Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mateo Embry (ranked 4036 p4p, 6200 weight class) and Venice Stalanburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalanburg lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Stalanburg looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Stalanburg fails to land with a series of punches.
Stalanburg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Embry circles away quickly and effectively.
Stalanburg throws a right and a left that Embry avoids nicely.
Embry changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Embry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stalanburg ducks right into an uppercut from Embry.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Embry, as that shot connected.
Stalanburg misses with a two punch combination.
A quick step to the side and Embry tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Embry connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stalanburg . Stalanburg circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Stalanburg is rocked!
A big left from Embry misses.
Stalanburg is still on wobbly legs! Can Embry finish him?
Embry scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stalanburg in his tracks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Embry drops Stalanburg with a huge uppercut! Stalanburg drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Embry is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
