Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michel Pereira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Moura!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Harry Moura has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Moura finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Pereira.
Moura shoots in and bounces Pereira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Moura chips away with some ground and pound.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moura working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Moura has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Moura fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pereira.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Moura shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moura showed some decent athleticism there.
Moura takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Moura thows a huge punch but Pereira dodges it nicely.
Pereira is looking for a sweep. Moura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Moura's corner calls for a 1-2. Moura obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pereira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moura moves away.
Moura lunges at Pereira with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pereira's hand.
Pereira pivots, looking for a leg kick but Moura is out of range and Pereira settles back down.
Pereira attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Moura steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Pereira.
Pereira tries to clinch there but Moura circles away.
Moura throws the kick towards the body but Pereira avoids it.
Pereira chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Moura can pounce on him.
Moura's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pereira under the eye.
A head kick misses from Pereira.
Moura tries to counter with a clinch but Pereira shakes him off and moves away.
Moura throws a front kick that sends Pereira stumbling back into the cage.
Moura takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pereira's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pereira duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pereira tries to work over Moura's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Pereira throws a knee to the head but misses.
Moura has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pereira clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pereira won't enjoy being in this position. Moura looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Pereira is tapping - it's over boys! Moura picks up the submission victory!

Harry Moura was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
