Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson LaCroix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ares Tagaloa!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tagaloa swinging wildly here.
LaCroix slips a straight right by Tagaloa.
LaCroix throws a big counter combination but Tagaloa scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tagaloa tries to close the distance and clinch but LaCroix swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A quick step to the side and LaCroix tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tagaloa scores with a hook to the body. LaCroix takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tagaloa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but LaCroix moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
LaCroix is looking to counter punch.
Tagaloa lands with a hook. LaCroix tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
LaCroix drops Tagaloa with a nice combination! LaCroix dives into Tagaloa's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Ares Tagaloa has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LaCroix drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. LaCroix seems to have locked his on tight now - Tagaloa screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for LaCroix, as he picks up the win!
