Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maddy Rock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juji Master!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock keeps the fight on the outside.
Rock lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rock swinging wilding here.
Rock connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Master's hands.
Rock throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Master shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rock wants to hold on but Master pushes him away.
Rock tries to reverse the position but Master maintains control.
Rock doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?
Rock swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Rock's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Master avoids the attempt from Rock to control.
Rock just holding on.

Master swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rock is now in Master's guard. A big mistake from Master there, giving up the dominant position!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rock content to stall in guard here.
Rock wanted to stand there but Master had control of the position.

Master is working an open guard so Rock takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Rock throws a combination. Master tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Rock throws a good cross that connects.
Master missing with a left hand there. Rock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Master throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rock was covering up waiting for the punch and Master finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rock lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Master!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Master tries to reverse the position but Rock maintains control.

Rock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rock finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Rock rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Master moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rock changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Master tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Maddy Rock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juji Master.
Rock tries to break free but Master pushes him back against the cage.
Master jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rock walks away with a smile on his face. Master gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rock throws a low kick but it's checked well by Master.

Rock lands a nice hook to Master's body. Master takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Master is breathing heavily.
Master misses with an uppercut. Rock saw that one coming.

Master has a takedown stuffed.
Rock misses with an attempted mid kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rock throws a combination. Master tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Master walks into a straight right hand from Rock.

Rock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rock fails to land with a series of punches.

Master shoots in and bounces Rock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Masteris looking to pass into half guard but Rock pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rock is in guard.
Rock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rock wants to get up but he can't break Master's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Master is looking for a triangle but Rock pushes his legs off easily.

Master isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rock stacks Master on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rock!
Master takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Master tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Rock laying and praying for a moment but Master takes advantage and regains half guard.
Master wants to improve his position but Rock is controlling well.

Rock is taking a breather. Master says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Master gets back to full guard.
Rock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rock has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Juji Master has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
