These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tex Walker!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Walker is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Stone with a body shot.
Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Walker moves into the clinch successfully.
Walker blocks the elbow strike.
Walker pressing his opponent against the ropes.
Walker using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walker manages to break the clinch.

Walker lands with a nice combination. Stone backs away looking to recover.
Walker scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Stone tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Stone wants to break free but Walker has control.
Stone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Walker has him pressed against the ropes.
Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Stone's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Walker manages to break the clinch.
A punch combination from Walker misses.
Walker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Walker tries to score with a low kick but Stone moves his leg out of the way.
Stone closes the distance looking to clinch
and Walker counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Stone goes down! Walker rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Stone is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tex Walker!
An out of breath Tex Walker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
