Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vini Chowkin (ranked 24951 p4p, 3426 weight class) and Sonny Barella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barella changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chowkin tries to avoid it but Barella manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chowkin to the ground. Chowkin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chowkin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barella moves away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Barella tries to bum rush Chowkin with a series of wild strikes but Chowkin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chowkin clobbers Barella with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Vini Chowkin dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A slow jab from Chowkin misses its intended target.
As Chowkin backs off Barella throws a huge counter combo but Chowkin manages to avoid it all.
Barella drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Barella is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Chowkin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Barella gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Chowkin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Barella lets go of the hold and Chowkin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
