Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Freaky Frank (ranked 3498 p4p, 4167 weight class) and Saul Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freaky Frank has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freaky Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Saul Goodman!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Frank.
Goodman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Goodman misses with an uppercut.
Goodman takes a jab right on the kisser.
Goodman loads up on a big right hand but Frank slips the punch.

Goodman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Frank's half guard.
Frank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goodman on the ground.
Frank is refusing to be controlled, as Goodman sits in half guard.

Goodman seems to be working for a kimura but Frank defends the submission attempt.
Goodman trying to pass the guard but Frank defending well.

Frank is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Goodman pulls his head out easily.
Frank definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Frank trying to get back to full guard but Goodman takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Goodman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Frank is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Frank and Goodman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Goodman swings around for an armbar but Frank sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Goodman's guard.

Goodman is looking for a triangle but Frank pushes his legs off easily.
Frank stands and throws Goodman's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Frank trying to control the action but Goodman is working from the bottom.
Goodman tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frank tries to advance to mount but Goodman denies him.
Goodman tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Frank presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Frank prevents Goodman from getting the reversal.
Frank punching from mount but Goodman doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Goodman is trying to escape the mount.
Frank trying to control but Goodman is having none of it.
Goodman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Goodman is trying desperately to improve position.

Frank is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Goodman looks to score with a jab to the body but Frank is just out of range.

Goodman moves into the clinch.
Frank has Goodman pressed against the cage, preventing Goodman from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Goodman slowing the pace effectively.

Goodman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Frank uses from the top position.

Goodman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Frank has picked Goodman up and slammed him! Goodman can't keep hold of the triangle and Frank manages to pass to side control!

Frank working the ground and pound but Goodman is defending the strikes.

Frank decides to stand back up. Frank steps back and let's Goodman get back to his feet.
Frank moves away from the strike by Goodman.
Goodman dives in and grabs Frank's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frank pushes down on Goodman's head and hops out.

Goodman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
You can see the frustration on Frank's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Frank tries to bench press Goodman off him but Goodman keeps the position.
Goodman wants to control but Frank is keeping him busy.

Goodman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Frank is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Freaky Frank will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Frank staying out of range there.
Frank is looking to counter punch.
Frank tests Goodman's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Goodman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Frank!
Frank is trying to control Goodman's posture but Goodman avoids it.
Frank is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Goodman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank sneaks back into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank is concentrating on defense, preventing Goodman from advancing position.
Frank wants to control but Goodman is keeping busy.

Goodman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Frank trying to control but Goodman postures up.
Goodman is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Frank!

Goodman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Frank to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Frank shrugs it off.
Goodman fails to take his opponent's back.

Frank keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Goodman working for a guillotine from mount but Frank is in no mood to give up.
Frank is trying to escape the mount.

Goodman goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Frank turns into him and now he's in Goodman's guard.
Frank wants to stand but Goodman is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Goodman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Frank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Goodman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Frank has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Frank trying to control but Goodman is working from the bottom.

Goodman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frank gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Goodman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Frank defends it easily.
Frank passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Frank is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Goodman sees it coming and defends easily.
Goodman wants to control but Frank is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Frank is controlling the pace.
Goodman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Frank is working away from the top position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Goodman looking for submissions off his back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Saul Goodman will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Frank looks to throw the jab but Goodman is out of range.
Frank scores with a nice strike.
Goodman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Goodman is rocked!
Frank throws a hook but Goodman avoids it easily.
Goodman is still on wobbly legs! Can Frank finish him?
Frank cracks Goodman with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Goodman tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Frank pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Goodman is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freaky Frank!
